Guadalupe Aguirre was like a bright and shining star on a dark moonless night there to guide one. She was like the mystic and beautiful giant octopus who watches over her eggs without ever leaving their side. Committing the ultimate sacrifice by ensuring her eggs would have a chance at life. Without hesitation she would show the true meaning of unconditional love. Her embrace was warm and inviting like a freshly brewed cup of coffee. But as physics has taught us, even the brightest stars fade out.
On December 27, 2022, our universe felt much colder and darker with the loss of one of its brightest stars, due to a tragic accident. Guadalupe Aguirre will be missed but never forgotten. Her memory will live on through her devoted family and friends.
Guadalupe is survived by her sons, Steven Reyes and David Reyes; grandchildren, David Joe, Samantha, and Sabryna; and several family and friends.
Viewing will be held on January 23, 2023, at the Gardens of Eden, El Centro, CA, from 5-9 p.m. Church will be held on January 24, 2023, at El Cristo Rey Mission, El Centro, CA at 12 p.m. A reception will be held afterward at 2:30 p.m. at 156 Littlefield Way, Heber, CA.
