IRMA PEREZ Obituary

Irma L. Perez, 72, of Holtville, CA, was born on January 13, 1950, in Mexicali, B.C., MX, and passed away on December 11, 2022.
Irma married Baltazar Perez in Calexico, CA, and together they raised four children. Irma worked as a first grade teacher at the elementary school, Colegio Militar, in Mexicali, B.C., MX. She also worked as a preschool teacher for many years throughout the Imperial Valley for migrant programs and Campesinos Unidos, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Orozco, and mother, Maria Parra.
Irma is survived by her husband, Baltazar Perez; children, Brenda Gonzalez, Erick Perez, Edgardo Perez, and Ericka Perez; and grandchildren, Christian and Vanessa Gonzalez, Clarisa and Joel Perez, Ericka F. Perez, and Jaelyn Mercado.
Visitation will be held at Garden of Eden, in El Centro, CA on January 12, 2023, from 5-9 p.m. Burial will be held on January 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Terrace Park Cemetery in Holtville, CA.
In lieu of flowers, we will be accepting donations for an orphanage.
