JAMIE SINCLAIR Obituary

JAMIE MICHELLE

SINCLAIR

Mar. 14, 1969 – Feb. 25, 2025

Jamie Michelle Sinclair (Littrell) passed away on February 25, 2025, at 55. Born in El Centro, CA, on March 14, 1969, she is survived by her husband, Richard Sinclair; children, Aaron & Vanessa, Tyler & Matthew, and Chandler; grandchildren, Kaline, Kazmir, and Karter, parents, Susan Camlin and Barry & Rebecca Case; and siblings, Tony, Greg, & Andrew (AJ) Camlin, Kayleigh Littrell, and Lyndsey Milburn, along with many adored relatives and extended family members. Jamie was a shining light to all who knew her.

A devoted educator, Jamie earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts, a Master's in Education from SDSU and a Reading Certificate from UCLA. Her 30-year educator career began as a kindergarten teacher in Westmoreland before joining ECESD, where she taught and served as a reading coach at five different schools. She later became the Curriculum Director and held leadership roles at ICOE before returning to the classroom and eventually becoming a principal. Passionate about education, "Mrs. Sinclair" dedicated her career to giving students the best opportunities to learn.

Jamie cherished her family above all. A devoted wife and mother, she never missed a school trip and coached her daughter's cheer team for 14 years. In recent years, she found joy in her grandchildren, attending every one of their extracurricular activities and sporting events. She also loved her bull terrier companion, Fiona, who even earned a spot on the family couch.

Jamie's unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone will leave a lasting impact. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on March 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Valley Christian Church in Imperial, CA, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge in El Centro, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jamie Sinclair Memorial Fund https://gofund.me/080c240a supporting CASA and other local causes dear to her heart.

Jamie was a wonderful 1st grade teacher for my son and instilled a love for learning in him. She was always kind and when we saw her always remembered us and my kids. I´m so grateful to her and Richard giving Fiona (Cake) her forever home. I love that she found her place on the couch (and bed!). Rest in peace Jamie and lots of prayers to Richard and the kids.

Jamie will always have a place in my heart. Her beautiful smile, her upbeat energy just made my day. She was an educated, generous, kind individual and I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. Jamie was truly the best host I've ever known for special events and holidays. She made me feel like family throughout the years. You will be missed but never forgotten. To the Littrell/Sinclair families...Chyenne and I send love and prayers.

Mrs. Sinclair hascearned her place in Heaven among the angels. She was kind and intelligent and understanding of children's challenges. My sympathy to her family, colleagues and students. She had excellent leadership skills and credited her many mentors. I took reading specialist classes at UCSD. I observed one of her small groups. Practicing the th sound. We were sticking our tongue between our teeth and pretending to make the goose sound. Soon all of us were laughing! Delightful! Rest in Peace.

Jamie was, as everyone will attest, a smart, caring, beautiful, talented individual. Talented in everything she tackled, a superior educator in every role she entered. But she was also human, and made mistakes that I am sure were hard for her to accept and to sometime work through. She will always be remembered as a shining light, she was 99.9 percent of the time My most sincere condolences and sympathies to Richard, her children, grandchildren, parents, friends and students. As her friend and boss at one time I will always remember her and the EXCELLENT job she performed as a classroom teacher and reading coach to her peers. MUCH TOO SOON , she is Resting In Peace. I will be unable to attend her services & celebration, but I will always remember sweet Jamie My love to you all.
