JAVIER A. HERRERA

Aug. 15, 1933 - Mar. 20, 2010



Javier Herrera, 79, of Calexico passed away Saturday, March 20 in his home due to cancer.
He was born August 15, 1933 in Santo Tomas, NM and was married to Hilda Herrera on June 23, 1967 in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 28 from 6 to 9 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico.
Mass will commence at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 29 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico. Burial will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Herrera; eldest son, Albert Jay Herrera; and sister, Anita Garcia.
Javier is survived by his wife Hilda Herrera of Calexico; daughter Hilda of Calexico; sons, Jaime of San Diego, Isaac and wife Perla of San Diego, and Lisandro and wife Lori of Fredricksburg, VA; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Alexis, Isaac Jr., Ariana, Mei Rose, Daisy, Karla, Abraham, Victor, Benjamin, Anisa and Oscar; one future great-grand- child Audrey (7/2010); brothers, Jose Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM and Lorenzo Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Herrera Family,
