JON ANTHONY ADAMS
Dec. 11, 1959 - Nov. 22, 2006
Jon Anthony Adams passed to "the other side" at the age of 46, on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska, in the loving embrace of his family.
Jon was born in Pasadena, CA. on December 11, 1959 and from there he lived in Texas, Hawaii, California and Colorado, traveling the world when time permitted.
He worked at Aspen Lodge and Guest Ranch, his family business, and graduated from high school in Estes Park, CO. His family then moved to Southern California where he worked in the next family business, the Barbara Worth Resort, in Holtville, CA. Jon became the chef as well as computer teach at Barbara Worth. He obtained an A+, MCP, MCSA, Network Plus and MSCE Certification with Microsoft.
Jon moved to FT. Collins, CO. with family, working for ITX, Geeks on Call, starting Friendly Computers with brother, Patrick.
Jon's lifelong ambition was to live in Alaska and his final wish was to die in Alaska. His family traveled in Alaska with him before he succumbed to cancer.
His memorial was held at the Anchorage Funeral Home.
Jon was a good Christian and felt a connection with Jesus Christ, wishing to have his remains scattered on Mt. McKinley, close to God. His family scattered his ashes over Denali on November 24, 2006 where his life was celebrated and thanks was given to God for allowing us to have him for 46 years.
Jon was forgiving and never judgemental. His love was unconditional. Jon was an amazing person who touched the lives of everyone with whom he came in contact. Jon said, "See you on the other side", and the night of his passing, the Aurora Borealis was spectacular.
Jon is survived by his wife, Letty, of 21 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Allen; son, Jeremie Adams; parents, Bill and Peggy Adams; grandmother, Odessa Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Suzana and Tiberio Esparza; niece, Sydney Heasley; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Lily Adams; nieces, Heather and Samantha and nephew Ryan.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 17 at 2 p.m. at the Barbara Worth Resort in Holtville. Join us in celebrating Jon's life.

To All Who Knew Jon,
I am truly the luckiest brother in the world! Jon was my "hero"! I loved him dearly. Jon would have given his last dollar to someone in need! He was a very giving person! We weren't like typical brothers. We always enjoyed each other's company and got along. Jon, I love you with all my heart! Miss you brother! See you in heaven. I know you are basking in God's wonderful warmth and love. 2nd Corinthians - Absent from the body...present with the lord. I try to take comfort in this verse...but I still cry a lot. God Bless You All! Love, Patrick

To The Entire Adams Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Jon. We seemed to have lost contact over the past several years. I will always remember the good relationship shared not only with Jon, but with the entire Adams family. My thoughts go out to all of you. May 2007 be a year for you to reflect, and bring happiness to all.

Dear Adams & Esparza Families:
Jon and I were born on the same exact day - he always called me his twin. I regret that we never found out how close in time we were born ... we always meant to. He was a beautiful man, wonderful person and I was honored to have known him and be his 'twin.'
Rich blessings to all of you - I will always continue to remember my 'brother' on our birthdays.

I am so deeply sorry the the loss of Jon. I know him from when i worked at Barbara Worth Country Club back in 1999. I was new & he stopped me and asked if i was drinking orange juice & said only water & iced tea. He was a very nice man. May god be with him and the rest of everyone we lost.

Patrick, Altough I did not know your brother, I am sorry to hear about your loss. I'm not sure if you remember me. Me and a bunch of Blue Angel guys used to sing karakoe with you at BW a few years back (late 90's) We also had you play the Viloent Feems "Blister in the Sun" all the time. I still keep in touch with people in the Valley, and I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I pray your family is doing well.
