KENNETH QUEEN Obituary

Kenneth Ray Queen, 61, of El Centro passed away on March 2, 2022 of a heart failure. He was born on July 15, 1990 in Brawley.
In his young years he worked at San Bon and was a member of Union Teamsters. He traveled with his mother and father up north for produce work. When his parents retired from produce he then worked alongsidewith his brother, Larry Queen at Highline Cooling for a number of years. He liked fishing in the canals, catching catfish and going out to the dessert was his favorite past time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hardis Queen and younger brother, Larry Queen.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Beverly Queen of El Centro, California; sons, Jerry Queen (wife, Serris) and granddaughter, Alyanna Grace Queen, and Jake Queen of El Centro; niece, Holly Queen and sister-in-law, Barbara Queen of Brawley.

When my son Steven, taught Kenny how to use Facebook video call to get a hold of his son, as Kenny was talking to his son it brought a tear to his eye, then his son's and then Steven's it was a heartfelt touching moment. My son and I miss you Ken, we will always remember you.

I´m going to miss you buddy! When I needed a friend,you were there! You were a true friend indeed! We had some great times ,made a lot of memories! Just wished we´d have had more time! I want to thank you and your parents for allowing me to stay with you guys for a while! I really appreciate it! You were like a brother to me! Thanks for being a great friend to me!
