LAURA COLE Obituary
Mar. 24, 1940 – June 4, 2024
Laura Wavra Cole, formerly of San Diego, passed away on June 4, 2024, of complications from a stroke while surrounded by family in the home of her son. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Withrow (Kevin); son, Brian (Toni); and grandchildren, Jacob Cole, Michael Ray, Ben Withrow, Chelsea Withrow, and Hallie Withrow Winkler. Siblings include Catherine Criman, Vincent Wavra, Joseph (Kathleen) Wavra, Jim (Teri) Wavra, Mary Harmon, and Barbara Wavra; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Laura had worked for many years in the healthcare industry; she was a Registered Nurse. A source of great joy to Laura was her many friends, travels throughout the world and her love of family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church Hall, Brawley.

Laura was a dear dear friend to me when I resided at Rosewood several years back she was a sweetheart. She would always have dinner or lunch with me. I didn´t go down for the breakfast too early and I´ve taken her lots of places. I didn´t know that she had a stroke and I just called over to the Rosewood to check with her and they said she´s not there And I just saw this obituary but I want you to know she was a doll actually in my storage, she gave me a kind of a pink colored Persian rug. It still needs to be cleaned. I had I never did that but I do have it if it has special meaning to any of her family please give me a Call That has special meaning to me too, but I´ve just never been in a position where I could use it.
