Leland Bailey Kirby, 59, of El Centro passed away of heart failure on Sunday, March 4 while doing what he loved, riding his bike.
He was born January 1, 1948 in Michigan. He was always kind and thoughtful of his siblings and their children. He spent many years working as a tree trimmer. His hobbies included building models and motorcycle repair.
No services are planned at this time, but friends may visit his mother's home located at 850 N. 10th St. in El Centro.
Leland is survived by his mother Lucille Kirby and 12 siblings, Kenneth, James, Edward, Michael, Timmy, Durwood, Mark, Sharon Fanning, Florence Ewing, Shirley Oatsvall, Louise Graham and Carolyn McClain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
