LEONARDO PINEDA

Leonardo Pineda, 49, of Westmorland passed away Sunday, March 1.
He was born November 11, 1965 in Oxnard, CA and was later married to Eva Pineda on July 29, 1989. Leo, as many knew him, was a tow truck driver for Dickerson Towing for the past 17 years. Leo was a wonderful husband and father that loved spending quality time with his wife and kids. His hobbies were fishing and working on his cars.
Visitation will take place Friday, March 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Chapel service will commence at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, also at Frye Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery following the service.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonardo and Petra Garcia; and grandmother, Lucina Pineda.
Leonardo is survived by his wife of 25 years, Eva Pineda of Westmorland; son, Leonardo Pineda Jr. of Westmorland; daughter, Kaylee Pineda of Westmorland; daughter, Karina and Miguel Diaz of Brawley; mother-in-law Gloria Agundez; brother-in-law, Ismael Agundez of Westmorland; father and mother, Gilberto and Eloisa Pineda of Westmorland; brothers, Gilberto Pineda Jr. (Alma) of Mt. Vernon, Washington, Gabriel Pineda (Rosa) of Brawley, and Martin Pineda (Ashlee) of Salton City; sister, Adriana Esquivel (Xavier) of El Monte, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
