LUZ ELENA LOPEZ-RUVALCABA

Mar. 28, 1975 - Sept. 17, 2011

Luz Elena Lopez-Ruvalcaba was granted her angel wings on September 17, 2011 at the age of 36.
Ms. Lopez-Ruvalcaba was born on March 28, 1975 to Luz Maria and Santos Lopez. Luz's life may seem too short to many, but those whose lives she touched understand that the quality of our existence far exceeds the time we spend here on earth. Her love, smile and affection brought much joy to her family and friends. Luz grew up in Brawley, California and graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1993. She most recently worked for Meadows Union School District where she will be sorely missed by her students, parents and co-workers. The greatest joy and light of Luz's life was raising her three wonderful children.
She was preceded in death byher brother, Roberto Lopez; and grandfather, Don Luciano Lopez.
Luz is survived by her loving children, Juan Jr., Ashley and Yazmin Ruvalcaba; parents, Luz Maria and Santos Lopez; brother, Carlos Lopez; mother and father-in-law, Maria and Roberto Ruvalcaba; sister-in-law, Araceli Ruvalcaba-Gonzalez; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 21 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley from 6 to 9 p.m. with rosary being said at 7 p.m.
Mass is scheduled for Thursday, September 22 at 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Our dearest sympathy goes out to our long-time neighbors Santos, Luz and brother, Carlos Lopez for the loss of their beloved daughter, "China" whom we all knew her by. May God bless you and her children Juan Jr, Ashley, and Yazmin, as well as the Ruvalcaba Family in this time of sorrow. We will all miss her dearly and she will remain forever in our hearts. Wow, I can still hear you asking me to please bring the LAMBS program to the children in your program that you loved so much. You brought so much love and needed attention to those little ones. My Madison says you always made him feel loved and welcomed to your after school program. Your own children can always be proud knowing that you brought love and kindness to those around you. You may be gone but you will forever remain in their hearts. Remember that your momma loved you and will be watching over you.

MIS ESTIMADOS SANTOS Y LUZ;
DIOS NECESITABA UNA SONRISA COMO LA DE ELLA A SU LADO , NO HAY PALABRAS QUE LES PUEDA DECIR PARA CONFORTARLES, DIOS EN SU INFINITA MISERICORDIA LES DARA FORTALEZA PARA PASAR ESTE VALLE, Y TIENEN TRES BOTONCITOS DE SU FLORECITA QUE ESTA ADORNANDO EL JARDIN DE DIOS.
RECIBAN UN FUERTE ABRAZO
CHAYITO
