MARTY BUSH Obituary

MARTY SUE

BENTLEY BUSH

Feb. 23, 1944 – Jan. 19, 2025

Marty Sue Bentley (Bush), aged 80, passed away January 19, 2025. She was the most loving mother and grandmother and adoring wife of 60 years to the love of her life, Richard Bentley.

Marty was born February 23, 1944, in El Centro to Pat and Virginia Bush. She had a love for nursing and was a natural in her take charge and compassionate ways. She graduated at the top of her class from the San Diego State campus at IVC, with her nursing degree. Marty and Richard moved to Poway, where she continued as an RN supervisor/labor delivery nurse for over 26 years at Pomerado Hospital. She was the best, ask any doctor.

Marty was beloved by her children, Scott (deceased), Chris, Brady, Tracee and Ryan. She was Nana to her grandkids, Braden, Riley, Casey, Shelby, Cody, Trevor, Faith, Kinzee, Lainee, Kylee, Brixton; and great-granddaughter Ryen; incredible sister to her brother, Rick and sister, Kathy. A multitude of families will always love and adore her.

Marty was an amazing person, full of life and love. She will be missed but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

I was in the same nursing class at IVC. And went into labor and delivery nsg, as well. She was a special lady.
