Dear Woods and Herring family:

I just learned of Micha's death and I am so deeply sadden of the news. Micha and I went to nursing school together, worked at PMH together and stayed in contact for many years after leaving the valley. I lost contact with her several years ago after moving to Sweden. I have such fond, funny, happy memories of her. We studied hard, worked hard, played hard and I had the greatest respect for her. I spent much time with the "woods" family while we attended nursing school (1978 -1980) but unfortunatley never met her husband and children she wrote so fondly of in her yearly christmas letters - she was always full of surprises and we had so many laughs. Her greatest accomplishment in life was the birth of her two children - she was so, so proud. Last time I spoke with her she was in Monterey at a seminar and then I never heard from her again. I just learned of her death today from an old friend in the valley via email. Micha I love you and you will be greatly missed. To all of Micha's family your in my prayers. I would appreciate if any of you could write and update me. Her spirit will live on. She was a strong, smart, full of life woman. Good-bye my friend... Mary

I was saddened to learn of Micha's passing. We became acquainted around 1979, she had not begun her nursing degree. I was from Texas. We became friends at PMH. I will miss her sweet charm and lively spirit. My sympathies to her family.

Dear Woods Family,

I was shocked when I read about Lori. Such a life full of love and laughter. I can't tell you how many times I have thought of our antics (Lori, Carlene and myself) and cracked up laughing, what a joy she was as a human and as a friend. The last time I saw her was in the ER at Pioneers, years ago unfortunately. My oldest was terribly ill and she was the one who took care of him and of course we had to enlighten him with a few stories :) My heart aches for your loss. I pray that God envelopes you with his love, comfort and support. Lori has always been and will forever be in my heart.
