Michael (Mikio) Rodriguez Martinez, 62, of Brawley, passed away in Pueblo, Colorado, surrounded by his family, on December 20, 2022. He was born on June 27, 1960, in San Jose, CA. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Deguzman Martinez; children, Antonio Cacatian, Michelle (Kenneth) Casados, Michael Martinez Jr., and Gilbert Martinez; and siblings; Steve Rodriguez Martinez, Carmen (Rick) Garica, Larry Rodriguez Martinez, Ralph (Monica) Martinez, and Stevie (Beatriz) Martinez of San Diego.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Martinez, and Helen Rodriguez.
Michael loved his family more than anything, and his favorite past times were hanging out with his children and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by those left behind to cherish his memory.
Services and a celebration of life for Michael (Mikio) Martinez will be held on February 17, 2023, at 890 B. Street ACC Hall in Brawley, from 1 pm to 5:30 pm.
