NEINA THIESSEN Obituary

NEINA E. THIESSEN

Oct. 13, 1941 – Feb. 14, 2025

Neina E. Thiessen, 83, of El Centro, California, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2025. She was born on October 13, 1941, in Reedley, CA. Her childhood and early adult years were spent in San Fernando Valley. She retired from the AT&T Telephone Company after 33 years of service. She then moved to El Centro to be closer to family, where she made a difference in the lives of those around her.

Neina was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She is survived by her brothers, Jon Thiessen of Colorado and Donald Thiessen of British Columbia, Canada; her sister, Norzetta Thiessen of El Centro, California; as well as her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, who will all cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of faith, compassion, and generosity.

Neina had a passion for travel, enjoyed working on the computer, and was known for giving great advice. Her enthusiasm for exploring new places and her knack for technology brought joy and inspiration to her life and to those who knew her. Neina was a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and is now in heaven with no pain. She has been reunited with those who have gone before her and is in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

A celebration of life will be held later to be determined.
