PAUL THOMPSON Obituary
Paul Dane "Sharktooth" Thompson, 68, a true American Patriot and Conservative to the core, died on Tuesday, February 28, at his home in Solana Beach, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Paul is survived by his life partner, Joanne Hayes, as well as his two daughters: Susann Thompson Houston, son-in-law, Jimmie Houston, and granddaughter Haley; Erin Thompson Hilley, grandson Dane and granddaughter Belen. Also his two stepsons: Steven Hayes and Wes Hayes and his wife, Donna. Paul will be missed by all who met him through all the aspects of his life. He loved his family, and he loved to fish and to surf, and most of all he loved his beloved "World Famous Camel's Breath Inn" on Friars Road in San Diego, where a Celebration of Paul's Life will be held in the near future. We will all miss him and we are a little sad for all those who will never have an opportunity to meet "The King." Paul was so grateful for his three beautiful and healthy grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's, The Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Rady's Children's Hospital - San Diego, and as a proud Vietnam veteran, a donation Wounded Warriors would please him as well.

Oh daddy.... another year... 4 now... I miss you beyond words. Dane is about 6’2” now! And Belén is about 5’9”... I’m officially the shrimp lol the world is crazy and would be better with you in it that’s for certain, though what’s going on would surely drive you mad haha not much is going on but I wish I could spend these long days talking with you. I love you so much, you are forever missed by all.

Dear paul. I just have to say thank you for always making me feel special. You did that to everyone. I walked into your establishment and you introduced yourself. I was down visiting my dad from LA.
