Rafaela D. Garcia, 82, of El Centro passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2022. Rosie, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, was born in San Jose de Baviacora, Sonora, MX.
She moved to the Imperial Valley at an early age. She later went on to meet and marry the love of her life, Albert Garcia, Sr. They were married 59 years and together they raised two loving sons, Albert Jr. and Jose Manuel.
Rafaela was preceded in death by her parents; brother; and twin sister.
Rafaela is survived by her devoted husband, Albert Garcia, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Albert Jr. and Patty Madueno-Garcia, and Jose Manuel and Donna Garcia; brother, Frank (Anna) Duran; sister, Beatrice Alcaraz; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; grandchildren; great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, El Centro, CA. Mass will begin at 11 a.m. and Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Sincere condolences to Albert and family on the loss of your beloved wife, mother and sister. Rafilita, as my family affectionately called her as a young girl, was a very dear and loved family friend and we will miss her very much. When I think of her, I remember her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. May she rest in peace and may you all find comfort in happy memories.
