PASTOR RAY C. KELLY
July 20, 1911- Aug. 28, 2006
Pastor Ray C. Kelly, 95, of Brawley, passed away Monday, August 28, 2006.
Mr. Kelly was born July 20, 1911 in Stratford, CA. Mr. Kelly actively served as a minister from 1936. His first pastorate was in Castroville, CA followed by pastorates in Earlimart, CA and Buttonwillow, CA. He moved with his family to Salinas, CA, where he established the Pentecostal Tabernacle.
Mr. Kelly founded many other churches in Oklahoma, Texas ans California, during his 70 years of active ministry, including the most recent being in Brawley
Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley.
Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Ronnie Valenzuela of Harvest Time Powerhouse Ministries Friday, September 1, at Coachella Valley Cemetery 82-925 Ave 52-Coachella, CA., commencing at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery in Coachella, CA.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his daughters, Barbara Rae Ryburn of Salinas, CA, Evelyn Morene Pardue of Indio, CA and Rachel Pauline Kelly of Palm Desert, CA grandchildren, Konstanze Assaad, Melanie Tollison, Mark and Todd Ryburn and Aimee Jones 9 great-grandchildren 2 great-great-grandchildren.
