RICHARD ALARCON Obituary

RICHARD G. ALARCON

May 25, 1959 – Oct. 12, 2024

Richard passed away after a long illness in Aurora, Colorado on October 12, 2024. On May 25, 1959, Richard was born at home to Ernest and Jovita Alarcon in El Centro, CA.

He ran cross country on his high school track team. After graduating from Central High School, Richard attended Grossmont College. He transferred to San Diego State University majoring in Marketing. He accepted a sales position after college with Coors Distributing in Northern California. Richard met his wife, Beth in 1983 and married in 1988 in Lakewood, CO. They made their home in Aurora after he accepted a sales position with Corona Beer. They welcomed their first daughter, Rachel in 1991 and their second daughter, Emily in 1994. He eventually landed his dream job with his dream company, Budweiser Brewing Company. Richard's passions in life were cycling and climbing 14'ers with friends and family. He climbed twenty 14'ers in the beautiful Colorado mountains.

Richard is survived by his wife, Beth; daughters, Rachel (Allan) and Emily (Logan); grandson, Luke; sister, Rita (Lino); brothers, Ernie (Lourdes) and Albert (Kelly); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A family gathering will be held on a Colorado 14'er to honor Richard's zest for adventure and his love for Colorado. The family requests you honor Richard's memory by donating to the Dementia Society of America.
