Gail, I am so sorry about Roger's passing. I always enjoyed seeing you at Thanksgiving and Xmas and Roger was always such a positive and giving person. When I think of him, I can't help but smile and think "what a nice guy". That really sums Roger up for me, "what a nice guy" and someone that I will use as a positive inspiration. I will truly miss him, but I also know that he is in a better place and will lead the way for us and maybe have a nice joke or two upon arrival. God Bless.

I knew Roger at work and was greted with warmth and hopitality when I moved to Bakersfield in 1981. He was the spark plug that made the day go by with fun and the joy we shared with Motorola, a great company. I will miss his sprit, e-mailed jokes and phone conversations. I know with certainity that he is in a better place. God bless, Roger.

Bob & Jeanie and Gail,
I did not know Rodger, but I Know he must have been a man with a lot of courage. He lived and fought with a terrible disease. Speaking from experience I know what he went through and what it takes to keep going.
Our Sympathy to all.

I knew Roger in high school in Imperial Valley. He was a kind and wonderful person. I moved from the Valley after graduating and lost touch with many of my friends including Roger, but I have always kept him and great memories of Roger in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I know that memories of Roger will give you comfort as time goes on.
May God bless and comfort you.

I did not know Roger but I was shown pictures and told of Roger only a day after his passing and when we were talking of him we did not know that he had passed. I live in Illinois and was being visited by my cousin and Roger's friend Billy Olson.
The family has my deepest sympathy as I know he was a fine person.

I will miss Roger so much by so many that he touched on a personal level. He meant a lot to so many people who like himself had Multiple Sclerosis. He was the spiritual leader of the Bakersfield MS Support Group for many years. He helped form and run the Friends of Kern County Multiple Sclerosis Patients, Inc., a nonprofit that benefited so many with MS locally. Roger will be in my heart and mind for the rest of my life.

It was my priviledge to work with Roger from 1984 to 1989 when I was with the City of Bakersfield. He was always cheerful and upbeat, usually with a little twinkle in his eye that made you wonder what he was up to. He was a good guy and will be missed. Our heart-felt sympathy to his family as they go through this most trying of times. May God bless and keep you.
