ROSA PADILLA
July 15, 1932- Jan. 25, 2006
Rosa Padilla, 73, of Seeley, passed away of natural cause Wednesday, January 25, at Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Rosa was born on July 15, 1932 in Mexicali, B.C. MX. She lived with Esteban M. Padilla for 10 years and married in 1965 in Mexicali. Rosa worked for several years at various packing sheds and was a house wife.
Rosa enjoyed going to the casino with family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, from 6 to 9 at Hems Brothers and Mortuary in El Centro. Rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Mass will be Thursday, February 2, officiated by Father Jaime Escobedo at Sacred Heart in Heber commencing at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cementary in Calexico.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Conrado and Francisca Padilla; sister, Francisca Marquez; grandson, Stevie Padilla and brother, Ricardo Padilla.
Rosa is survived by her husband, Esteban Padilla; sons and daugheters-in-law, Esteban Jr. and Hermelinda Padilla, Hector and Myriam Padilla, and Ricardo and Patricia Padilla; son, Ernesto Padilla; daughter and son-in-law, Francis and Carlos Jimenez; daughter, Rosa Elena Castaneda; brother, Conrado Padilla; sister, Ramona Martinez; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
