SANDRA HERNANDEZ Obituary

SANDRA HERNANDEZ

July 25, 1969 – Aug. 22, 2024

Sandra Hernandez, age 55, passed away on August 22, 2024. Born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, Sandra was a long-time resident of El Centro California, where she touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Jose Marquez; her children, Luis Espinoza, Ana Karen Rivera, Keyla Rivera, and Kenya Gallegos; and her five cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Georgie Antoinette Hernandez, and her siblings, Juana Lantzer, Martin Hernandez, and Gerardo Hernandez.

In her early career, Sandra worked at Parker's Pharmacy in Holtville for many years. She then embarked on a new journey as the manager of Holtville Taco Shop, eventually becoming its owner. Alongside her sister, Sandra's passion for cooking delicious Mexican cuisine contributed to the long-standing success of the beloved local establishment. Her exceptional customer service and great attitude made her an unforgettable presence, even years after she moved on from the restaurant.

After her time at the taco shop, Sandra dedicated herself to being an extraordinary stay-at-home mother. As a devoted homemaker, she always put her children, grandchildren, and husband first. Sandra was the heart and soul of her family.

Sandra had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished the beauty of nature. Traveling with her family held a special place in her heart, and she valued these shared experiences.

Above all, Sandra treasured her family. She would find any excuse to host cookouts, bringing her loved ones together for quality time. Her love for dancing, singing, and creating lasting memories was infectious. Sandra was always the life of the party, and her radiant smile and outgoing personality will be deeply missed.

Sandra's strong faith in God and devotion to her Catholic religion guided her throughout her life. Her helpfulness and generosity towards those in need were hallmarks of her character. Sandra Hernandez's legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
