Dear Sergio Flores, my friend "Chapis" I knew you a little less than a year, but, in that time we developed a strong bond in our friendship, more than that you were like an older brother to me. I will cherish the many memories we made deep in my heart, I will never forget the endless hours of poker games we played, with the stereo playing our favorite music, be it oldies but goodies, old school, modern etc. we would be there singing, dancing, rollig in laughter, unknown to us that often times we were being spied on. Our meals shared together and our drink, sipping it out of our "coffee mugs" ice cold or even iced as you liked it. Cheech & Chong moments, we had many,I remember and cannot stop laughing. I miss you buddy, I still find myself looking over towards your house, wanting to see you, but, you are no longer there. "There is a God!" and I know that when my time comes, we will see eachother again. You have left a great emptiness in my heart, in my life, I thank you for all of the good times we shared. Most of all I want to thank you, Sandra, and your family for welcoming me into your homes. I miss you bro...love ya!

Sergio was like a father to me, always joked around, offered me great advice, and welcomed me into his home. He will be missed deeply, and remembered as a funny hardworking man. May he rest in peace and watch over all those who love and miss him.

Sergio Flores was my neighbor for over 20 years and he was a very responsible hard worker, a family man. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and would often times include my daughter, Karla on their family outings. Just recently he asked for Karla making sure she was doing well and focused on her goals. I thank him for that, because as large as his family is, he still looked after both my daughters, Monica and Karla. A great man, respected by all...he is going to be missed by many. My deepest condolences to the Flores family, may the fond memories you all hold in your hearts comfort you during this difficult time. God Bless you all! RIP - Sergio Flores
I remember how excited Sandra & Sergio Flores were the day of their baby girl Angelica's Baby Shower.

To all those that knew Sergio, maybe had get a chance to view the greatness behind the man, that gave his all for his family. That didn't see all the struggles put before him to keep life moving in a positive direction. And not once did the strong sun rays of the imperial valley stop him from doing his duty's as a man and a father for he was truly someone who did his job honorably for 25 year as a United States Post Man. Still behind all that was another great man who was full of funny bone's within his body, never willing to show a sign of sadness or weakness, and alway's willing to dance no matter the occasion or music. In his honor I promise to keep the smile on my face and the music in my heart for as long i live, Thank's for all the love and memories.
