Soledad A. Jimenez, 90, of San Diego passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 of natural causes.
She was born July 15, 1924 in Concepción Buenos Aires, Jalisco, Mexico and was married to Atanacio Jimenez in 1948 in Mexico. She was a loving homemaker and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente Anaya and mother, Ramona Rivera Anaya.
She is survived by her former spouse, Atanacio Jimenez; sons, Jose (Mercedes) Chavez, Mike (Sandra) Jimenez; daughters, Eloisa (Robert) Jaenicke, Valicia (Robert) Adauto, Maria (Ernesto) Soto, Mercy Jimenez, Judy DePasse, Josie (Kim) Pensinger, Debbie Baize and Patty Jimenez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro and will be officiated by Pastor Juan Quiñonez and closing comments by Pastor Kim Pensinger. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family suggests flowers be sent to: Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 and Wednesday, September 3, 2014.
