TOM BRADY

Tom Brady, 85 of Holtville, passed away on Friday, June 15 peacefully at home with his family.
Tom was born on January 20, 1927. He moved to the Imperial Valley with his family at a young age. In his early years, he worked in the packing houses, ran cattle, farmed and ran a custom equipment company. He also owned a truck brokerage and harvest company. Tom was a veteran of World War II. He married Betty Denning in 1956 in Yuma, AZ. They settled in Holtville where they raised their 3 sons.
Tom loved spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren. As time passed, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Alice Brady; brothers, D.A. "Bud" (Quebelle) Brady, Richard (Nina) Brady; sisters, Thelma (Ellis) Stewart, Grace (Willie) Tackett and Lil (Eddie) Maljan.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; sons and daughters-in-law, Justin (Donna) Brady of Holtville, Morgan (Kimberly) of El Centro, Shayne (Lisa) Brady of Holtville; grandchildren, Jared (Katy) Brady, Jake, Megan, Taylor, Hannah, Paige, and Austin; as well as nieces and nephews.
Burial services will be officiated by Pastor Richard Moore at Terrace Park in Holtville on Monday, June 25 at 10 a.m.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Tom and Betty were really good friends to me when I first moved to Holtville in 1969. A really good man! Wishing you all peace of heart.
