On Monday, October 11, 2021, Trinidad Caballero Cardenas, loving husband, father, brother, and tata passed away at the age of 63. Trinidad was born on February 23, 1958 in El Centro, CA to Cruz Caballero and Antonio Cardenas and raised in Brawley CA.
Trinidad enjoyed spending time with his family, watching scary movies, cruising with his wife bumping oldies, and taking walks with his granddaughter.
He was a hardworking, loyal, and honest man of God who always showed up for his family and friends. His calming and gentle presence was a source of comfort to so many. He was always generous with his time and resources. Many times, his love was in the quiet but always shone through unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cruz Salcedo; grandmother, Carmen Caballero; stepfather, Praxedis Saucedo; brother, Joe Cruz.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Varela; daughter, Maryellen Rollins and her husband, Tony Rollins; Jessica Cisneros; Cruzita Cardenas and her children; granddaughter, Aria Rose; Rebecca and Abby Cisneros; sisters, Rosie Cruz, Irene Cardenas, Norma Cardenas, and Maricruz Saucedo; his brother, Antonio (Panchi) Cardenas; David Saucedo; as well as countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on November 1, 2021 at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley, CA from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
