TRINIDAD GARCIA PALMA

1922 - 2019

Trinidad Garcia Palma, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Fountain Care Center in Orange of Orange County. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Trinidad had touched throughout her long, yet memorable life. Trini, as she was affectionately known, was born July 17, 1922 in Brawley, California, to Cornelia and Candelario Munoz Garcia. She was married for 31 years to Salvador Diaz Palma until he passed in 1978. Trini truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, eating Chinese food, loving her wine spritzers and cafe mochas. Her youthful spirit and lust for life allowed her to be active in her final years. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. She is survived by her children, Ruth Cota-Olson, Salvador Palma, Robert Palma, Mary Garcia, Freddie Palma and Andrew Palma; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as friends and extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. and with rosary at 7 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. Mass will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Andrew Kunambi officiating, at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
