Gail Weldon Obituary

Gail Eugene Weldon Sr. February 14, 1937 - July 17, 2024 Gail Eugene Weldon, Sr. passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Jacksboro, Texas. He was 87 years old. Gail was born on February 4, 1937, in Graham, Texas to George and Lorene Weldon.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Cornerstone Community Center in Jacksboro, Texas. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Gail married Shirley Ann Nabers in Lakeview, Texas on October 28, 1954. He was a faithful member of Christian Missions and owned and operated Gail's Roustabout for 40 years. Gail will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Gail is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 69 years, Shirley Weldon; children Rhonda Fields and husband Jimmy and Eugene Weldon and wife Sadie; grandsons, Dustin Fields and wife Shelby, Kevin Fields and wife Gabie, Gabe McAnear and wife Summer, Brandin Fields and wife Laura, Kort Weldon, Kole Weldon and wife Micah, Kirk Weldon and wife Kelsey, Kade Weldon and wife Alondra, and Jacob and wife Esmeralda; 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Vivian Truitt and husband Don; along with many extended family and friends.
