Joyce Porter, born December 1,1936 in San Antonio, Texas, died on August 20, 2025 in Georgetown, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Alice Uhlig, husband Dave Porter, daughter Laurie Way, and brother-in-law Orville Tschirhart.
She is survived by her son Timothy Porter and her twin sister Jean Tschirhart, son-in-law Craig Way and wife Linda; four grandchildren Andy Way and wife Chantel, Haley and Tyler Carroll, Julianne Way, and Jason Way. Great grandchildren include Theo, Gideon, Norah, and Ruthie Carroll.
On March 9, 2025, she married Louis Fairchild and inherited Amy Fairchild, Susan Fairchild, Mia Elliott and their respective spouses: Gretchen Ritter, Cindy Ippoliti, and Ben Elliott. Max and Georgia Carrino, Clay and Aaron Elliott, and Gerard Carrino complete the family tree.
