Edna Conrad Obituary
Jackson - Edna Rose Conrad, age 80, of Jackson, died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Milan NHC Nursing Home after a short illness.
Edna was born on March 8, 1937 in Perryville, Mo. She was the daughter of the late Danny and Gertrude Lukefahr. She graduated from Perryville High School in 1955, where she was elected the yearbook queen by her graduating class. After high school, she worked as a secretary at the Monsanto Corporation in St. Louis. She was a long-time employee of NBC Bank and Union Planters Bank in Jackson, Tn.
Edna married Richard L. Conrad on June 22, 1957. She is survived by her husband, Richard, and three children: Randall Conrad (Karen) of Fort Worth, Tx., Karen Fowler (Gary) of Beech Bluff, Tn., and Rev. Kevin Conrad (Kathy) of Milan, Tn. Her grandchildren include: Lindsey Nabors (Mike) of Olive Branch, Ms., Casey Conrad of Springdale, Ar., Colby Fowler of Nashville, Tn., Daniel Conrad of Knoxville, Tn., and Chelsea Conrad of Chattanooga, Tn. She has one great-grandson, Conrad Nabors of Olive Branch, Ms. She is also survived by one brother, Earl Lukefahr, in Perryville, Mo., along with a number of nieces and nephews in Missouri.
She was preceded in death by a sister June French and two brothers, Clyde Lukefahr and Leroy Lukefahr.
Edna was a lifelong Christian and member of Fellowship Bible Church.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Fellowship Bible Church in Jackson, Tn., at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Casey Conrad, Mike Nabors, Colby Fowler, Daniel Conrad, Wayne Taylor and Dean Lukefahr.
The family is requesting that memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2935 Hwy. 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305 or to Fellowship Bible Church, 141 Pleasant Plains Road, Jackson, TN 38305.
