Funeral services for Ethel E. Russell 74 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 31 2006 at Brummitt Funeral Home McKenzie TN with Bro. Corey Meggs officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery McKenzie TN. Mrs. Russell a homemaker died Sunday January 29 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born August 3 1931 in Jackson TN the daughter of the late James Dalton Owens Sr. and Willie Marie Hall Owens. She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Paris TN. She is survived by her husband Walter Verdell Russell of Springville TN. They were married June 7 1946. Survivors also include one son Larry Russell of Springville TN; one daughter Diane McDowell and husband Bob of Springville TN; a brother James Dalton Owens Jr. of Wisconsin; two sisters Rubie LaPointe of Jackson TN and Ann Cupples of Jackson TN; four grandchildren Dean Russell and wife Carrie of Friendship Denise Jackson and husband Thames of Nashville Shanna Russom of Enville and Chad Black and wife Angie of Paris; four great-grandchildren Brittney Russell of Camden Nolan Russell and Lee Russell of Friendship and Connor Jackson of Nashville. She was preceded in death by two sisters her twin at birth and Christine Patterson of Riverdale IL. Pallbearers will be Chad Black Nolan Russell Thomas Jackson Jim Owens Jr. Joe Anderson and Billy Taylor. Visitation will be today January 30 2006 from 4:30 P.M.- 9 P.M. January 31 2006 from 9 A.M. until service time. Brummitt Funeral Home Inc. 731-669-3871
