Services for Gailya Pusser Davis 70 of Collierville are 11 am Thursday September 30 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Dennis Callahan and David Cooper officiating. Burial is in West Memorial Baptist Cemetery in Saulsbury. Mrs. Davis died Monday September 27 at her home in Byhalia Miss. The wife of William H. "Bill" Davis who survives she was a homemaker and worked part-time at the family business Davis Grading Co. in Collierville. Mrs. Davis was born December 2 1933 in Finger Tenn. daughter of the late Carl and Helen Harris Pusser. She was a Baptist in belief. In addition to her husband whom she married February 11 1965 survivors include one son and his wife William H. "Little Bill" and Patricia Davis of Collierville and one granddaughter Emily Lynn Davis all of Collierville. She was preceded in death by two brothers John Howard and Buford Hayes Pusser. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday from 9 am until service time. Memorials may be directed to West Memorial Baptist Church.
