Ida Tims Obituary
Jackson - Ida Beatrice Tims, 92, died peacefully on February 5, 2018. She was born May 6, 1925 to the late John and Peal Hartley. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings. Those she leaves behind are her husband, Parnell Johnnie Tims, 96; two children, Debra Tims Nash and Philip Tims; two grandchildren, Amber Nash and Kristen Nash; two great grandchildren, Adam Abujodeh and Brian King.
She married her soulmate, PJ Tims, on May 21, 1944. He served our contry for 27 years in the Army and Marine Corps. While he was deployed, she remained very busy as a homemaker and served in countless capacities in the churches they were members of. She was active in events at the West Tennessee Agriculture Center.
She was well known for her awesome southern cooking and her love for flowers and the beautiful gardens she raised. Anyone who knew her were certain of two things: she loved God foremost and truly loved her family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tims will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Parkburg Baptist Church, where she served as a life long member. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery.

We will miss Miss Bea so much. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. The community will not be the same without her. I'm so glad I got to know her and will be looking forward to seeing her again in Gods heavenly home.

Mr. Tims, Debra, Phillip, we are all so lucky to have had the opportunity to share in knowing Bea. We always felt welcome and loved whenever we were able to visit. She was a very special person that made us all better people just by being around her and sharing in her lilfe.
