Joan Brasher Obituary
Joan R. Brasher, age 75 of Decaturville, TN, passed away Sunday, September 30th, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Joan was a member of Decaturville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie (Tony) Wallace of Centerville, Renee (Rick) Carr of Austin, TX; two sons, Doug (Vicki) Brasher of Parsons, David (Bonita) Brasher of Parsons; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a beloved sister and brother-in-law, Janice (Earl) Rhodes of Gainsville, GA.
She was predeceased by her husband, J. G. Brasher; a granddaughter, Melissa Gurley; a sister, Jo Ethlan Smith and her parents, Jake & Magnolia Smith.
Her funeral service will be at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3rd, with Bro. Don Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Decaturville. Visitation will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 10 a.m. until service.
