Kay Cox Obituary
The most loved woman ever! Loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Nanna!
Kay Cox, age 68, died Tuesday evening, December 23, 2104 at her residence. She was surrounded by her family as she has been for the past 7 months.
She was born August 31, 1946, the daughter of the late Stella Lorene Pickard and William Kenneth "Coon" Pickard. She graduated from Obion Central High School. KSK Leasing - named after her girls, PDQ Transportation, Inc., Cox Construction and Max Trans, LLC are just a few of the ventures she was owner in.
Kay is survived by her husband of 46 years, Flint Cox; three daughters, Kim Cox, Kristi Cox McCarver and her son Conner Jace McCarver, Susan Cox Lefevre (Josh Lefevre) and her daughter Isabella Cox Lafevre; two brothers, James Ray Pickard (Ruby) and Clarence Tausten Pickard; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by William Kenneth Pickard, Dimple Wayne Pickard, Stella Lorene Lovell Pickard and William Earl Pickard.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 3 p.m. For additional information please call the funeral home.

To the Cox family, Mrs. Kay brought light and laughter into every life she touched, including mine. I am so blessed to have known such a good hearted woman. My prayers are with you. I only met Kay a couple times but she was very nice. I heard a lot of good things about her thru my niece, Molly Veazey and my sister Sylvia. I know what it is to lose your mother. God bless your family!
