Mr. and Ms. Weir, Lori and Jennibeth, I just read today about Lisa's passing. I was shocked and extremely saddened to hear about this. You all were like a second family to me while I lived in Jackson. Lisa and I first met on a senior trip in high school and formed a great friendship. Lori and I met while in school at UTM and became close friends. I don't think I've ever met a nicer family. Please know that I'm thinking of you all. Lisa was a very special person and your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I've known Lisa since grade school at J.B. Young thru high school at Southside. We graduated together in1977; Lisa was a special person, she never met a stranger, she had a heart of Gold and will be dearly missed by many!!!!

I have known Lisa since way back to her high school days. There are many fond memories of the whole Weir family since my late husband (Buddy) was at South Side and we got to know many of the families of his students. Lisa was always a very up beat person and you could always count on her to have a smile on her face.She was truly a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed by all.

Lisa was one of our Super D South girls, as my mother (Gracie Mills) would say. She always had a smile and was very helpful when we needed help with a prescription. She served Jackson well! I know she is having a grand homecoming in Heaven! We will be praying for the family.

I had the honor of serving as Lisa's pastor for six years. She was not only a committed Christian, but loved deeply by her family and friends. The Weir Family graciously welcomed my family with love as they have welcomed so many others. Lisa will be missed on earth, now her inviting smile is a bright star in heaven. She is at home.

Kim and I love the Weir family, and are so saddened by her unexpected death. We both live in Fort Worth, and had already purchased airfare to come to Tennessee in September. I will never forget the time we came to the former Weir homestead on Dixie Lane, and watched the funny home movies from years gone by.
