We were so sorry to hear today, from my cousin Michael Deming, that Carolyn passed away. Don and I always enjoyed going to the Deming reunions with my parents Simon and Louise Deming Smith of Grand Junction, TN. Rhea and Carolyn did a lot of research on the Deming family. They kept the family reunions going for a long time. She will really be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

I am so sorry we didn't know about Carolyn's passing till I talked to Martha Thursday. She was such a dear sweet lady and so good to get the Deming family reunion together and she knew more about the Deming family history than anyone. Now that I am planning a reunion I was counting on her being there. My sincere condolences to Ellen and Rhea, Martha and all the family . We loved her and she loved everyone. God bless you all.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Deming as my sixth grade teacher. Her TLC is a legacy for all of us who were taught by her.
