Robin James Obituary
Cordova, Tennessee- Services for Robin Montresser James Sr., age 41, will be Saturday November 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, in Jackson, TN. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. James died Monday November 14, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN from a year long battle of lung cancer.
Robin Montresser James Sr. was born on August 11, 1970 to Clara James and the late Robert James Sr.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Terry Manning and Robert James Jr.
Robin's beautiful and kind spirit will be especially missed by his loving wife Tia James, his four children Robin Jr., Dominique; Morgan and Colbie James; two grandchildren Kourtnee and Kennedee; his mother Clara James siblings Brenda James; Sandra (Franklin) Myles; Sikitia (Harold) Lanier; Bridgett (Robert) Parham; LaGreille (David) Wigglesworth; Ulysses (Jesus) Roberts; Lenoski (Lashonda) James; his precious and beloved niece Natasha (Patrick) Curry; his best friend and nephew Andishiki Hillard; he also leaves behind a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; family and friends.
Visitation will begin Friday morning from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The remains of Mr. James will lie-in-state at First Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
