Elizabethtown, KY
Sallie F. Smith, age 98, died at the Humboldt Rehab and Nursing Home August 23. Funeral services will be August 28th at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Elizabethtown, KY. She is survived by daughters Joy Garriott( Randall) and Gay LaGrange Wilson(Jim), grandchildren Greg Garriott and Gayle Mbana, and great grandson Jason Mbana, brother Logan Knight (Norma) and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Mrs.Smith lived in Jackson since 1994. Thank you to Humboldt Nursing Home for loving care, friends and family for love and visits and special nephew Butch for his German chocolate cakes. Mother was loved by many and will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Woodland Baptist Church, 365 Wallace Rd., Jackson, TN 38305 or Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 350 Mt. Zion Rd., Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
