Mr. Samuel Taylor McLemore age 73 of Jackson, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his home.

He was born January 17, 1944 in Humboldt to the late Anne Wilkinson House and James Taylor McLemore. He was a retired contractor and proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Barker.

Mr. McLemore is survived by his wife Ann Pearson McLemore; two sons, Christopher Barton McLemore of Morgan City, Louisiana and Brent Taylor McLemore and wife Sara Beth of Brownsville. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Sophia Claire McLemore, Abigail Taylor McLemore, Sam Banks, Ann Wesley Banks, and Jeb Elam Banks.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Samuel Taylor McLemore, will be conducted Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Dr. Joseph R. Thorton officiating with private burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org in memory of Mr. McLemore.
