Sarah Gibson Obituary
Humboldt, TN - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah M. Gibson, age 89, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Gibson, a beautician, homemaker and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Bailey Park Nursing Center in Humboldt.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Lee Kee and Howard Bill Gibson; a daughter, JoAnn Kee Lynn; three brothers, Albert Wall, Gene Wall, Jimmy Wall, Cecil Wall and Sammy Wall; two sisters, Susie Wall and Lucille Butler Yearwood; and her parents, Cecil and Gladys Wall.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by a large and loving family, including four daughters, Hilda (Archer) Yates of Broomfield, CO, Brenda (Buddy) Morris of Decaturville, Linda Gibson of Nashville and Wanda (Wendell) Brown of Humboldt; two sisters, Ann Warton and Sandra Nichols, both of Humboldt; four brothers, Pete wall, Wallace Wall, Lanny Wall and David Wall, all of Humboldt; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her strong faith, warm smile and kind and loving spirit.
