To Mary and the rest of the Family, It deepens my heart greatly to hear of the homegoing of your mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I remember her kindness and graciousness when I visited Mary in Lincoln Courts. Cherish the good memories in your hearts and know that she will live there forever. May God bless each of you in your time of need.

To the Long Family,
Your mom's beautiful life shows that God's grace surpasses all of our human frailties. None of life’s failures and disappointments matter when this threshold is reached.
Visiting with the family on last night, laughing about our childhoods in Lincoln Court, and seeing all the pictures your mom had took me “back down memory lane”. It was priceless.
I have always been a part of your family, as your mom was there for me as a boy and became a pillar of strength as I grew older. She was faithful to her family and her God until he called her home for eternal rest. She was rewarded with a long blessed life and many that loved her.
Her legacy to me will simply be the example of love for family and for God. I will pass that love on to my children and I hope they will pass that love on to their children. In other words, my life was and has been influenced and changed for the benefit of God by your mom’s living. It will not stop with her call to rest.
Your Lincoln Court’s brother and life-long friend,
Kenneth (Bimbo) Moten and Family

The nieces and nephew hearts are with you in love and sympathy in the loss of our Aunt Sarah Long. The memories of Aunt Sarah are the kind that never die, but will grow even dearer as the days and years go by. May the lovely memories left ease the grief, and bring you comfort. The precious sacred word of the Lord gives us comfort in times like these; "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" Hebrews 13:5. God can do for us what no other can do. It is in this spirit that we exhort you to cast all your care upon the Lord for he cares for you. Love and sincere prayers, Georgia Whitelaw (Robert) Hamilton, Shirley Whitelaw (Willie) Sheard, Betty Whitelaw, Elder Eddie Whitelaw
