Jack, Will, and Carly,

We are so sad for you and are besides ourselves in knowing how to respond. Our God and Father is faithful and the Saviour and Keeper of our souls past the grave, and is not the God of the dead, but of the living! "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Dr. Crump & Family, What a wonderful legacy Ginger has left with all those who knew her (and some that were touched by her kindness but yet never met her). She never met a stranger and had the ability to light up any room she entered.
You are in our thoughts and prayers and our hope is that the pain will lessen daily and be replaced by the wonderful memories Ginger created daily.
With love, Janice & Mike Ivey

Jack, I just learned of your terrible loss from one of your UMSL classmates, Charlie Rieser. I had asked her how to contact you and she came across the obit. I am so sorry for you. I wish we had been able to get to know Ginger. I had hoped to contact you and reminisce about happier times and Me2B2O3 so long ago. Anyway, I will do that soon and I want you to know that Pat and I are thinking of you. I guess we haven't communicated since you began your life in Florida. Take care, Lol Barton

Dr. Bruner and family, I cannot believe that Ginger has passed away from cancer at 50. We grew up together in Marianna and graduated high school in 1976. I wish I had known her as an adult. I am so sorry for your loss and at a shock.

Jack and Family:

Ginger was a wonderful person who will be missed by all of us who had the opportunity to know her. Although I hadn't seen her for many years (she was a PA student of ours) she was loved and respected within the medical community and many of our mutual friends spoke fondly of her and kept me up to date. She (and all of you) will be in thoughts and prayers.

Ginger is a hero to me. I will most remember her for being such a strong person who always did the right thing. Her kindness has touched so many people. Even while dealing with health issues, she still took the time to pack the biggest and best packages for me while in Afghanistan. I will never forget this. Nor will the donkey who had to deliver that box up the 12,000 ft moutain range. Ginger put others needs before her own, time and time again. God has a speical place in his kingdom for this woman.

Ginger was my classmate at Marianna High School and we were in the band together. I shared a lot of good times with her and Rick at their beach house when we were growing up. I am so sorry to hear of her death, but God calls us all home in HIS time and for HIS purpose. I will keep your family in my prayers.

To the Crump/Brunner families:

I did not know Ginger, however, I worked many, many hours with "Papa" and Rick in the ER, and know that, from talking with them, she was much loved. I also remember reading the account of her wedding in our local paper, where "Papa Brunner" escorted her to the church from their house--I thought this was sooo sweet. Papa and Rick will always have a special place in my heart, and I'm sure that Ginger filled that space in the hearts of all that she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and may the wonderful memories I'm sure you have help to sustain you through this darkest of times.

November 29, 2008

Dear Jack, Will, & Carly,

We have amazing memories of Ginger. She was one of the friendliest and most accepting people I have ever known.

Matthew, Sarah and I enjoyed celebrating many of the kids' early birthdays together. A particularly fun birthday was one in your backyard with HUGE blow up slides and climbers. Bigger than life, just like Ginger.

Another fond memory for us was when Ginger had Sarah & Carly make a CD together. They sang their little 5yr old hearts out. It was a spur of the moment idea from Ginger. It was always effortless for Ginger to create innovative fun for every age.

We are blessed to have known Ginger and are truly sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Celeste, Matthew, & Sarah Stankard

Dr Crump, Will and Carly,
I had the pleasure of working with Ginger for a few years at Dr Marsland's office. She was one of my favorite people. She had so much energy and zest for living. She was wonderful with the patients. Everyone loved her.
I remember how thrilled she was when she learned she was going to be a Mom. I knew she would be a great mother and role model for them.
You have my deepest sympathy. She was truly a wonderful person.

November 28, 2008

Dear Jack, Will, Carly, Bill, Diane, Rick, and John,

Our hearts truly go out to you at this time. Words are so inadequate for the loss that you feel. You are all such wonderful and caring people and have always been there for us. We want you to know at this time how much we love all of you. Ginger was truly an angel who lived and enjoyed her life to the fullest. Her time on this earth was too short but I know that she is now at peace and smiling down on her wonderful family. Ginger always had a loving and caring way about her and brought happiness to every life that she touched. Her devotion to her family and friends was a true inspiration. We were so very fortunate to have her as a friend and as a "little sister." Delsie and I are holding all of you close in our hearts during this difficult time. You have always been family and we love you dearly. We will miss Ginger but the memories and love that she gave will always be with us. Our lives are more complete for having known her, yet now the heavens are brighter and more complete with the newest angel. We will miss you Ginger and we will always love you.

We love you all,

Robert and Delsie Bell

my thoughts and prayers go out for the memory of ginger and her family , i would also like to add a special prayer for her father who did my hernia surgery years ago in marianna and i have fond memorys of. i understand he is dealing with a double dose of burdens.. at times like this i feel helpless and wish there were some magic words or comfort i could offer but i am not god. from my past i know sometimes the knowledge that people do indeed stop to say that they do care does make some small comfort. i know nothing can fill the empty place in life right now. i guess thats what the meaning of life changing event is. it is double tragic when the life changing also contains a death but in life all things must eventually come. truth and knowledge sometimes bring little solace. i wish it had benn much longer for ginger she truely was a fine human being. in that maybe we were all blessed to have her i wish i had know her better. i guess no matter how well you know a person like her you always wish you had had her as a freind longer and known her better. please accept my inadequete wwww clumsy words .... all my love and prayers and hopes that soemthing can be built or started in her name in the present and future of life and the living so peieces of her will always be in life for the living . peace keith vipperman aka artistkvip (my unintentional art name but i do like it)

Ginger will be greatly missed. I only worked with her briefly in the PICU but our paths crossed again at RPDS where our daughters were in the same class for two years. Then again when I had a mets. to my brain , she guided me through the trauma of it all. And took Chrissy out several times. God bless Jack, Will and Carly. Comfort them in their time of grief. We will see her again beyond the Pearly Gates.

I loved Ginger for her spirit and love for her family, friends and her little patients at Wolson PICU where I worked with her. She will be sorely missed until one day when we will meet again at the foot of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
