Howard Greenman Obituary

Howard Greenman

Howard Stanley Greenman of Sneads, Florida passed away at his residence on September 20th, 2022 after battling a long illness. Howard was born on April 4th, 1940 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Tom and Helen Greenman.

Howard would spend his childhood years across the country at different U.S. Naval Stations. He attended the University of Miami to earn a degree in Marine Biology. This was influenced by Howard's talent for diving. Howard would then join the United States Navy and serve his country in the Vietnam war and up until his retirement. Howard would also have a career and retire from the Department of Corrections. He also worked for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office for several years.

One of Howard's greatest joys was his family. He is proceeded in death by his brother, Tommy Greenman, and two sons of choice, Danny and Randy Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Margie Greenman(Hargrove). His daughter, Jill Greenman. His son, Thomas Brando Greenman, wife Julie Greenman. His daughter-in-law Beth Lewis(Danny). His seven grandchildren, are Katelynn Lewis, Charles Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Scotty Lewis, Savanna Lewis, Sophia Greenman, and Conan Greenman.

Howard would spend many afternoons in his workshop customizing weapons. He enjoyed using his talent for craftsmanship. But most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with those he loved the most, his family.

The family will host a private service at a later date.
