James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850.482.2332 Phillip A. Wilchek Dr. Phillip A. Wilchek, Retired Chiropractor, 74, of Marianna, Florida passed away at Campbellton-Graceville Hospital on Monday Evening July 29, 2013. Phillip was born, October 5, 1938 in Granite City, IL. He graduated from McCray -Dewey High School in Troy, IL, a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Avid Bodybuilder, Martial Arts Instructor, and a Retired Chiropractor of 47 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with family and friends. His personality will be missed by many. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, John Wilchek and mother, Margaret McCabe. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gail Register Wilchek. Five Children; Dr. Scott Wilchek (Chaz) of Hawaii, Tori Davis of Missouri, Dr. Garrett Wilchek and Joey Wilchek of California, and Jennifer Turnage of Marianna, FL. He had 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marianna, Florida, with Bishop Danny Sims officiating.
