Brandon E. Federer, 34

Brandon E. Federer, 34, of Wolcott, IN, passed away at 3:26 PM on January 5, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of St. Louis, MO. Brandon was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma (brain cancer) on December 8, 2015 and fought a hard battle to the end.

He was born August 19, 1981 in Wolcott to Ed and Barb (Benner) Federer of Wolcott. Brandon graduated from Tri-County High School in 2000. He was also a proud graduate of Indiana University in 2004.

His marriage was to Megan Simonye on September 24, 2005 in Remington, IN. She survives.

Brandon had worked for CVS Caremark for 14 years; starting as a cashier and working his way up to being one of the most respected District Managers in the Midwest. He loved spending time with his girls, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Hoosiers, working for CVS, and listening to his favorite group the Dave Matthews Band.

Surviving along with his wife Megan, are daughter, Emme Reese Federer of St. Louis, MO; parents, Edward and Barb Federer of Wolcott, IN; brothers, Clint (Tia) Federer of Lafayette, IN, and Andy (Ashley) Federer of Wolcott, IN. Brandon is also survived by several nephews, family members, friends, and co-workers. Brandon, Megan, and Emme resided in St. Louis, MO for the past two years.

Friends may call from 3-8 PM (EST) Friday, January 8, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (124 N New York St Remington, IN). Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) Saturday, January 9, 2016 also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Paul Hudson to officiate. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery of Remington.
