Brandon Phelps Obituary
Brandon Tayt "Tayter" Phelps, 42, of Fowler, Indiana, originally from Oxford, Indiana, passed away on August 9, 2016 in his home. He passed peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones. Brandon had been battling an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis for almost two years. Brandon was born on September 8, 1973 to Susan M. Baumer and Larry B. Phelps, both surviving. He was the oldest of four children: Justin Phelps, Reagan Hall (Phelps), and Amanda England. Brandon graduated from Benton Central Jr./Sr. High School in 1991. Brandon was a huge sports fan, both watching and talking (debating) about them. -Go Steelers! Go Hoosiers! He loved to laugh and always had a smile on his face! He enjoyed watching movies; sports and comedies were his favorite. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He married the love of his life, Renee L. Phelps (Slavens), surviving, on April 9, 2005 in Earl Park, Indiana. He is also survived by his children: Kameron Holder (23), Gretchen Marshall (20), Kaleb Pritchett (19), Jade Albertson (15), Skyler Phelps (10), and Aiden Phelps (8). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncles Jerry and Stephen, and his cousin, Bryce.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 4 pm. EST., with visitation at 3 pm., all at Fowler Christian Church. Rather than dressing up, please wear sports attire to celebrate Brandon's love of sports. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Phelps Benefit Fund at Fowler State Bank to assist in family needs.

So sorry to hear of Brandon's illness and passing. Worked with him at the old box factory in Fowler. He was a super nice guy with a contagious smile. My thoughts and prayers to his family at this time. RIP Brandon!!
