Bloomington - Died Friday Dec. 22, 2017 at Advocate-BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Charles on Friday March 16, 2018 at Network Bible Fellowship in Bloomington at 6 PM. The Celebration service is after the 4-6 PM visitation.
Born in Lafayette, IN July 5, 1945 to Robert D. and Mary Marjorie Sheetz .
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Monahan Sheetz whom he married on March 16th, 1968. He has two sisters, Martha Braker of Roanoke, IL & Joan(Jack) Wealing living in CO. He is also survived by 2 nephews, Seth and Logan (Sarah) Wealing of CO ; 3 nieces, Kimbely (Jim) Bucher, Indianapolis, IN, Rachel (Greg) Braman and Rena(Jason) Hodel of Roanoke, IL as well as 14 great nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Network Bible Fellowship, Heal Africa or your favorite charity and you may direct personal messages to [email protected]. Online condolences may also be left at www.calvertmemorial.com

I only had the pleasure of knowing Charlie for a few years during his time in Eau Claire, WI. I lost track of him after he moved. This was before the days of texting and e-mail. Charlie was a genuine nice, smart guy, with a hillbilly sort of laugh that was contagious. We played some pick-up basketball together and often stopped to "refresh" afterward. I always enjoyed his company. I was surprised to learn of his passing several years after the fact.

To Charles's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may that bring you comfort at this difficult time.
