Doris J. Weyls

Lafayette - Doris J. Weyls, 97, of Noblesville, formerly of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Praire Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.

She was born May 31, 1923, in Edgeley, ND, to the late Charles and Addie (Burns) Landis.

Doris graduated from West Point High School and on September 12, 1944, she married Loyd L. Weyls in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1997.

Doris had been a manager at O'Rears Bakery and a teller at Lafayette National Bank, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at Lafayette Home Hospital.

Surviving are her children David (Lucy) Weyls and Linda Hunt all of Noblesville. Also surviving are her grandchildren Zachary (Erika) Weyls of Noblesville, Alexis (Alex) Linn of Fishers, great grandchildren Logan, Brooklyn, Lukas, Will and Eli. Doris was preceded in death by 4 brothers and sisters.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 7, 2020 at West Point Cemetery in West Point, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in Doris's memory. You may leave condolences and memories at www.soller-baker.com.
