Frank Burkhardt Obituary
Frank Kyle Burkhardt, 61, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born July 14, 1951, to Earl L. and Betty J. Burkhardt, of Lafayette.
Frank attended St. James Lutheran School and graduated from Jefferson High School. He resided in Indianapolis.
He worked drawing architectural blueprints for National Homes and he later retired due to health problems.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Burkhardt, Lafayette; daughter, Kristen (husband: Billy) Daley, Indianapolis; son, Kyle Burkhardt, Cody Wyo.; sister, Robin (husband: Mike) Max, Lafayette; brother, Tom Burkhardt, Elkridge, Md.; and four grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Earl.
Family will receive guests at 2 p.m. until funeral at 3 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012; pastor David French officiating.
Contributions should be made to St. James Lutheran Church or American Heart Association.

To my brother whom I have always been close too. I will never forget our slumber parties and racing down union street at 75 miles an hour. You, Tom and I shared a lot of fun times together but now you get to rest in peace with our dad who we miss so much. My heart will be broken but one day it will mend when we are together again. I will always remember Frank from our childhood days at Burkhardt Family get-togethers for Thanksgiving and Christmas at Uncle Bo's where we ate good food, watched football, played games, had gift exchanges and always a good time.
May you now be at peace in the loving arms of our Lord!
