I am sadden to hear of the death of my cousin Jim. My family moved to Arizona in 1970 so due to my age and distance I was not close to my Indiana family. However, I have memories of Jim from the short time my parent (Roy and Jeanne Benner) lived in Lafayette. My father passed several years ago, my mother Jeanne and sister Cherryl (closer to Jims age) both passed last year. All buried in Michigan City IN. I loved Uncle Cyril and Aunt Lillian and wil keep them all in my heart and prayers until I see them again. My sincere sympathies are with you.

We were sorry to hear of Jims death, Sara. We have many great memories of Jim at Fiesta Key. He welcomed us to the campground with a key lime pie & a can of cool whip to go with it. Jim & Bill spent hours fishing together & he encouraged Bill to get his Capts license! We, also, remember visiting with you & Jim at Key West and enjoyed Jims banjo playing. May God Bless you and keep you safe.

We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Our prayers are with you and your family, Amy, Jimmy and Sara. I remember when Jim played the trumpet during the Memorial Services when he was in grade school. And when he took time to tutor math during high school. Also never forget when he played in Sound of Music play at Fowler High School. I still think of him when I watch the movie. He truly will be missed. Love, Hank and Jane (Schwartz) Nickles
